Orientation Program for “NURSERY, LKG, UKG”

Jubilee Hills Public School has organized an orientation program for the parents of newly admitted students of “NURSERY, LKG, UKG”. The Principal Ms. Kanchanavalli, welcomed the gathering and enlightened parents on holistic development of students. She shared about the labs, achievements of students and awards won by the school. She said that Pratibha Darshan has been initiated for the students to master the language and instill public speaking skills. She also stated that both the teachers and the parents should monitor constantly and guide them for their improvement as they both play pivotal role in students’ life. The Senior Principal Ms. M. Varalakshmi, said that children observe our actions intently, so we should be careful and give them proper training from childhood. She stated that planning in advance helps overcome difficult tasks complete smoothly. If we work together with unity and focus on the children, then success can be achieved.The Primary Headmistress Ms. Vidhu Mohan, said that the students of today are the citizens of tomorrow, so from childhood they should be trained to be disciplined, grow up to be good citizens and guide them forward. She gave an overview of Academics and the regular routine followed in the academic year.Finally, the Question Answer session cleared all the queries of the parents. They expressed their appreciation for conducting this program, saying that they learned about the finer details of the smooth working of the school.The program ended with the National Song.

ART EXITIBITION

Jubilee Hills Public School organized ‘Pratibha Darshan’ to showcased the skill and talent of each student of Class I on 30.12.2023. It was a fantastic theme-based programme, ‘TAAL’ the rhythm of dance forms-a reminiscence of rich culture, tradition and heritage of India. The audience were welcomed with a pleasant prayer song and a dance.

The Primary Headmistress, Ms. Vidhu Mohan welcomed the gathering and stated that school aims at holistic development of children and through cultural activities which enhance social skills, builds confidence and self-esteem. She quoted Dance is a language beyond words and a shortcut to happiness.

The entire programme was very well hosted in three languages. The show was packed with musical renditions- dance forms of India. The students awestruck the audience by speaking in different regional languages. The colourful traditional attire and dances reflected the essence of varied rich cultural heritage of India. The tiny tots left no stone unturned to make the event a grand success.

The Principal, Ms. P. Kanchana Valli conveyed through her speech that the main idea of this theme is to make students aware of the diversity of culture and tradition through various dance forms.

The Senior Principal, Ms.M.Varalakshmi thanked the teachers and appreciated the efforts of children who put up a wonderful show. Children performed exceedingly well, exhibiting different cultures from various parts of India. She thanked the parents for gracing the occasion.

The Chairman, Sri Aruvela. Shravan Kumar Rao appreciated the students and teachers efforts for the wonderful performances.

The parents were astounded with the inspiring and outstanding performances of their children.They thanked the management and teachers for giving an opportunity to their children to exhibit their talents through such a wonderful show.

NOVELTY RACES COMPETITION

NOVELTY RACES COMPETITION

Competitions are designed to complete a task in given time. This usually entails to showcase students talent to reach their goal.

Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad conducted an Inter Section Novelty Race Competition for classes LKG and UKG on 12.12.2023 & 18.12.2023.

All the students were provided with rigorous practices to ensure their best performance. These practices were to familiarize the students with the race in advance and following time lines. All races were planned in accordance to their age and capabilities.

The races were “Pick and Drop relay”, “Zig Zag relay”, Running race and Bean bag race for UKG students and “Spot Marker relay”, “Ball passing relay” and Running race were conducted for LKG students.

The students not only enjoyed the challenges but also experienced a sense of accomplishment upon successfully completing the tasks. This concept serves to foster the development of essential skills. Such as concentration, creativity, memory, time management, language and team work.

QUIZ COMPETITION

QUIZ COMPETITION

Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad conducted an Inter Section Quiz Competition for classes LKG and UKG on 20.12.23.

Quiz competitions offers an opportunity to showcase their intelligence. The quiz competition was organized in the auditorium. The participants were seated section wise. The competition was moderated by a quiz master and score board displayed the results of the competition to the ultimate joy of the students.

The level of competition was kept on par with their academic syllabus like English, Number work, EVE, Rhymes and Stories. The students not only gained knowledge but also enjoyed answering the varied questions.

The students were very responsive, well-prepared, enthusiastic and followed the rules. The Moderator appreciated the teacher’s effort in broadening student’s knowledge and learning. An excellent overall show by the tiny tots of the Pre-Primary lauded by one and all.

RHYME DEPICTION COMPETITION

RHYME DEPICTION COMPETITION

Rhyme Depiction where the beauty of rhyming will be celebrated to spread the enchanting fragrance of poetic expression. Depiction refers to the portrayal of words or images of someone or something. In literature poetry holds a central position.

Jubilee Hills Public School conducted an Inter Section Rhyme Depiction Competition for classes LKG and UKG on 10.01.24.

The aim of conducting this competition is to build self-confidence, develop oratory skills and self-expression and to captivate the power of rhythm.

Our adorable and talented artists enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and the essence of words in their presentation.

The students showcased their creativity by wearing unique handmade costumes designed by their teachers. Additionally few props were incorporated into their performances which added visual impact. These props enhanced their presentation and help them to earn extra points, recognition and appreciation from the judges.

The winners were applauded and praised for their capabilities, costumes thematic approach message oriented rhymes and dedicated hard work.

LKG PRATIBHA DARSHAN

LKG PRATIBHA DARSHAN

The LKG students of Jubilee Hills Public School celebrated “Pratibha Darshan” with a theme “Kudrat Ki Karishma” on 06.01.2024 in the school premises.

Children love to listen and enact the stories. Stories possess magical quality, the power to transport us into different worlds.

The Headmistress welcomed the gathering and stated that “As a bedrock of development”, Pre-Primary education ensures the physical, mental and emotional growth of the child. Our today’s theme is a part of the LKG curriculum. Our aim is only to bring the kids to stage to overcome the fear.

The “Kudrat Ki Karishma” focused on popular stories on animals. The little wonders presented the programme which was the merger of jungle safari, the beautiful animal world beneath the water, showcasing the unconditional love of pet animals and lovely and lively Mowgli’s world. Last but not the least the little performers were able to tickle the funny bone of the audience by enacting as some jovial clowns. Children lighten up the motto that nature is our treasure and it need to be preserved.

The Principal, Ms. P. Kanchana Valli addressed the gathering and appreciated that the students performances. She said to the parents to spend more time with their children as they need more attention. Parents should refrain from inculcating stubbornness in their kids. The school with the help of parents can shape their future.
The Senior Principal Ms. M. Varalakshmi appreciated the performance of the students and effort of the teachers. Parents were enthralled by seeing spectacular performances of their children and expressed their gratitude to the management and teachers for giving opportunities to exhibit such a well co-ordinated show.
Students also delivered heart touching speeches on the theme which spoke highly of their public speaking skills as well as their understanding of the theme.

The programme concluded with the parent’s feedback and their views on the performance of their children. They expressed their gratitude to the Management and teachers for giving opportunities to the children to exhibit such a well co-ordinated show.

Apne-Class II Spectacle of Skill and Talent

Apne-Class II Spectacle of skill and talent

Jubilee Hills Public School showcased the skill and talent of every student of Class II through a stupendous show. It fosters the deeper understanding of relations in students as well as the parents through a theme-based programme on ‘Apne’-an awareness to protect the relations between the people and the nature. The show started with a Prayer Song and Welcome Dance.

The Primary Headmistress, Ms. Vidhu Mohan greeted the gathering and stated that relationships play a very important role in our lives. They help us with our emotional, social and mental well-being through trust & support .It’s the need of the hour to imbibe among children the emotional connect and empathy towards people, nature and society as a whole.
The entire programme was very well anchored in three languages. Children portrayed the affectionate relationship bonds and strong determination through various Dances which enlightened the importance of relations. The children put up an outstanding show to make the event a grand success.
The Principal, Ms. P. Kanchana Valli addressed the gathering and appreciated the splendid performance. She emphasised that in this digital world, parents need to spend time with family and friends to maintain healthy relationships.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS (2023-2024)

Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning at Jubilee Hills Public School. Being a diverse country, through such celebrations, children not only learn the significance behind the festival, but they also learn to embrace other traditions and culture just like they do with their own.
JHPS celebrated Dussehra on 26th Sept 2023 with great enthusiasm and energy. Dussehra, also known as Vijaya Dashami, or Dashan, the tenth day of Navratri or Durgotsav, is one of the most important festivals celebrated in various forms across India. The name Dussehra has been derived from Sanskrit language “Dash and Hara”. The festival is celebrated as the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana. It also celebrates the triumph of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura.Hence it symbolizes the triumph of good over evil.
The special assembly began with a prayer song seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings. A few children spoke about the significance of the festival in Telugu and English language and how the celebrations go across the nation.
The highlight of the program was the ‘Garba Dance’ by Primary children which is one of the dance forms of Gujarat. Pre-Primary children presented a dance drama which depicted how Lord Rama had killed Ravana and liberated his wife Sita from his captivity. It was a worth-seeing scene. Tiny tots dressed themselves in colourful ethnic wear and presented Bathukamma and Dandiya Dance in a graceful manner. The children enjoyed the mesmerizing performance.
The celebration was presided over by Principal, Mrs. M Varalakshmi and Chairman, Sri. A. Murali Mukund. They wished students, parents, and teachers a very happy and prosperous Dussehra in advance. The joyous event lit up the atmosphere and brightened the festive mood.
