JHPS CELEBRATES GANESH CHATHURTHI

‘Vinakaya Chavithi’, more popularly known as ‘Ganesh Chathurthi’ was celebrated on 10th September, 2021 with a blend of piety and ecstasy, a fervour and zeal for Lord Ganesha, a favourite with all children.

The festival was heralded with a prayer to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha, this was followed by a Welcome address given by a Student. The Chairman, Sri A Murali Mukund, addressed the Children, Teachers and Parents.

To heighten the spirit of festivity to a pinnacle, the students showcased their exuberance and reverence through a rendition of soulful prayers and Shlokas, dance recitals and an excellent depiction of Ganesha through a skit, thus signifying the lofty position of Lord Ganesha in all prayers and his highly revered name ‘Ekdanta’.The audience was completely captivated with the befitting performances of snippets from Ganesha legends. The renditions of Ganesha Stuti & Vinayaka Mangalam created an aura of Divinity.

The Vice Principal, Ms.Kanchana Valli, emphasised on the significance of the day for the young and old, as she appreciated not only the young participants, and Teachers’ efforts but also the wholehearted support given by the parents thus conveying an encouraging boost to one and all present.

The programme came to a close with a Vote of Thanks.
