Bagless Day

Bagless Day for Classes LKG to V
Learning gives creativity. Creativity leads to thinking. Thinking provides
knowledge and knowledge makes oneself great.
Jubilee Hills Public School had a day off from textbooks and notebooks on
21st October, 2022 as Bagless Day, as a part of National Education Policy
2020, for Classes LKG to V to inculcate creative self-learning approaches
and to add more colour to students‟ learning by training them.
The “Bagless Day” aims to take children to another dimension of learning
through practical experiences and thereby creating awareness on the
environment, processes and events, self-experiencing of the prior knowledge
and analysing them.
On this day, a spectrum of eye-popping activities were systematically
planned for different grade levels like pattern making, drawing, painting,
paper cutting and folding, collage, leaf printing, 3D optical illusion drawing,
puppet making, bulletin board making etc.
The activities created an interest among the students for learning and
exploring new concepts through various art integrated and fun activities.
The students used natural things and art and craft material to complete the
given activities. A lot of enthusiasm and excitement was seen in each and
every student. A complete participation, coordination, teamwork and
sharing was seen among the students.
Classes conducted „Bagless Day‟ were refreshing and relaxing with lots of
fun and engaging hands-on activities for students as well as for teachers.
