BABY’S DAY OUT

“Baby’s Day Out for classes IV and V was organized on 28th December, 2019 at Jubilee Hills Public School. This exploratory and exciting camping experience is organized every year to bring in a feeling of unity and amiability amongst the children. It was a jovial day out with their teachers and friends, away from their parents.

The elated faces of the children lighted up the school as they came at around 8:00 a.m. and were welcomed by the Headmistress, Ms. C. Srilatha and their teachers. The entertaining day started with a prayer followed by an extraordinary and energetic dance performance by the students.

Post a lip-smacking breakfast served by the school, the students enjoyed a number of activities like Musical Hulla-Hoops, Shuttle Run Relay, Football Dribbling Relay, Fitness Ladders Relay, Zorbing Ball, Trampoline, Magic Show, Skipping Relay Tug of War and Ventriloquism which took the children to the seventh heaven. Photo shoot was the main attraction for each child, posing with various props.

The succulent and healthy food was served to them for lunch which they enjoyed every bite of. They were exhilarated watching a movie in the company of their peers and it was a remarkable and revitalizing experience to them. Children enjoyed the snacks and joined the evening’s most awaited event ‘bonfire’ where they danced and rejoiced themselves with the liveliness and vigour. The parents expressed gratitude to the School Management for organizing such an event to inculcate a feeling of responsibility in the children.

Christmas and Math Day Celebrations

A special assembly for Christmas and Maths Day was celebrated on 24th December, 2019. The program commenced with a Student’s speech describing the significance of the day and its religious relevance, the birth of Jesus Christ. The theme behind this festival is to share the abundance of life and nature spreading the happiness that the Divine has bestowed on mankind.

The students from the middle school sang melodious carols and performed a dance to the delight of the student audience attending the assembly. The ecstasy of the celebration was clearly visible on the faces of the children. The programme closed with everyone in a festive mood and full of cheer as wishes for a Merry Christmas resonated in the air.

An addition to the Assembly was the Maths day celebration which was surprisingly a delightful entertainment, delineated through song, music and dance. Students were delighted with the rhythmic verse on the basics of Maths as it lay an emphasis on the concept of BODMAS. Such a delightful morning for the Assembly, but for the students it ended all too soon, leaving them in them in the spirit of festivity and exuberance along with an insight that Maths can be a joyful experience too.

TARANG-VIBGYOR OF CLASS I

Jubilee Hills Public School steered the skill and flair of each and every student of Class I through a remarkable show ‘TARANG- VIBGYOR’ on 21st December, 2019. It was a theme based programme to create awareness about the importance of colours in our life. “Children learn as they play. Most importantly through play children learn how to learn!” Colours play an important role in the world in which we live. Colours can sway thinking, change actions, and cause reactions. When used in the right ways, colour can even save on energy consumption. The students of Class-1 depicted the importance of ‘VIBGYOR’ through various skits and songs. The presentation of colours evoked emotions ranging from feelings of warmth to happiness and comfort.The programme started with a prayer song and a welcome dance.

The Primary Headmistress, Ms.C.Srilatha, addressed the gathering and briefed about the theme and said that the appeal of colours is universal. Colours play a significant role in our lives. Colours are a source of inclination for everybody. Colours can alter the moods, diminish tensions, cause exhilaration and sometimes have a calming effect on a tired person. The entire programme was very well anchored in three languages. The children enchanted the audience with various skits and dances illustrating the theme. Each child came on to the stage either as a speaker, performer, dancer, singer or an orator. The dances and musical performances exhibited equilibrium of contented life with respect to physical, mental, spiritual and healthy aspects. Children put in their heart and soul to make the occasion an outstanding triumph.

The Academic Coordinator, Ms.Sonia Nagpal addressed the gathering and said that the programme was astounding! The dances, poems and skits were well executed by the students with fluent dialogue delivery and natural acting. The parents of Class I were overwhelmed with the impressive and thought-provoking performances of their children and carried lots of memories with them by the end of the programme.

JHPS was jubilant with the news of the INDIA SCHOOL MERIT AWARDS 2019 and All India 20th ranking of Jubilee Hills Public School for its exemplary contribution in the field of education.This survey was conducted by the reputed ‘Education Today’ and the formal felicitation was held on the 14th of December 2019 in Bangalore. Sri Anil Sharma (Managing Director at VAK Education Today Pvt. Ltd.), bestowed the prestigious award on Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad, at the function.

The customary parameters for a judicious decision were based on high levels of recognition and merit ranging from Academic Reputation, Individual Attention to Value for Money, Holistic Development, Co-curricular Activities besides other minute assessments made by the Team Education Today.The Chairman of the school, Sri A Murali Mukund, applauded the significant achievement and accredited it to the undying efforts of the teachers, staff and students at JHPS.
