RYTHU BAZAAR

An Experiential Learning Initiative at Jubilee Hills Public School

Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad organized a vibrant and educational Rythu Bazaar, giving students an immersive experience in agriculture, entrepreneurship and healthy living through experiential learning.

Students of Classes 1 and 5 enthusiastically participated by portraying farmers, vendors and customers, recreating the atmosphere of a traditional village market. The event showed the journey of food from farm to table, with demonstrations of grain harvesting and milling, alongside attractive stalls displaying fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, pulses, grains, spices, and homemade food items.

Students gained practical understanding of nutrition, weights and measures, money management and fair trade. The initiative effectively connected classroom concepts with real-life experiences, fostering appreciation for sustainable agriculture and informed food choices.

The Rythu Bazaar reflected the school’s commitment to holistic and experiential education, nurturing gratitude for the dedication of farmers and encouraging students to value fresh and nutritious food while developing essential life skills in an engaging and meaningful environment.
