Visit to ISRO–NRSC, Hyderabad
Students of Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad recently had an enriching and inspiring educational visit to the Indian Space Research Organisation – National Remote Sensing Centre (ISRO–NRSC), Hyderabad on 15/10/25. This visit was part of the ongoing Space Lab initiative aimed at exposing students to real-world space science and satellite technology.
The highlight of the visit was the rare and memorable opportunity for students to interact with Mr. Shubhanshu Shukla, the first Indian astronaut to visit the International Space Station (ISS). His presence created an atmosphere of excitement and pride among the students, who were eager to hear about his journey, training, and experiences in space.
During the interaction, Mr. Shukla shared insights into the challenges of astronaut training, life aboard the International Space Station ,scientific experiments conducted in microgravity, and India’s growing role in global space missions.
He encouraged the students to stay curious, ask questions, and continue exploring the world of science and technology with dedication. The students asked thoughtful questions about space travel, rocket launches, satellite operations, and astronaut life, and Mr. Shukla answered them with enthusiasm and clarity.
