REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS
Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad celebrated the nation’s 75th Republic Day on 26th January, 2024 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
The Chief Guest for the celebrations was Shri. K.Krishna Dev Rao, President of Jubilee Hills Education Society. The Guard of Honour ceremoniously welcomed the distinguished guests. The Chief Guest, Shri.K.Krishna Dev Rao unfurled the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. Speaking on the occasion, he urged the students to live in harmony, keep learning and stay abreast with the latest developments, at all times.
The March Past was led by the members of the Student Council, followed by the school NCC contingent and the students of the four Houses -Cauvery, Ganga, Godavari and Krishna.
Students of the Primary Section performed a power- packed Zumba dance to pep up the sporting spirit. ‘Unity in Diversity’ was beautifully portrayed through a Tableau. The perfect synchronization in Aerobics and Mass Drill was a visual treat. The highlight of the day was the Human Pyramid Formation exhibiting strength, agility, coordination and teamwork which left the audience spellbound.
Various Inter – House athletic events, as a part of the Sports Day Celebrations, were conducted, soaring the competitive spirit and cheer amongst the students of the four Houses. The Best House and Annual Day awards were given away during the Prize Distribution.
While addressing the gathering, Senior Principal Smt. M. Varalakshmi greeted the audience and emphasized upon the role of education in moulding responsible citizens. She urged the students to “Dream Big, Work Hard and Stay Committed” to their goals.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks.
