WEBSITE REPORT ON VANAMAHOSTAV CELEBRATIONS

The Vanamahostav celebrations held at Jubilee Hills Public School on 14th July 2025 was a vibrant and engaging event focused on spreading awareness about the importance of trees, environment conservation and sustainable living. The event was attended by the President, Shri A.Murali Mukund, the Director, Smt.M.Varalakshmi and the Principal, Smt.P.Kanchana Valli, students, teachers and parents affirming their commitment to protect and conserve nature through thoughtful daily actions.

The celebration began with the pledge-taking ceremony which created a sense of unity and responsibility among students towards environmental protection. This was followed by a welcome address by Mihira Ma’am, the Head of the Science Department, who highlighted the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and urged everyone to contribute towards environmental conservation.

The celebration continued with a vibrant dance by Pre-Primary Students, which depicted the beauty of nature and the joy it brings to life. This was followed by a thought-provoking skit on sustainable living, where students of classes 8 & 9 demonstrated practical ways to reduce waste, conserve resources and live harmoniously with nature. The Primary Students’ dance then took the stage, celebrating the magnificence of trees and their role in the ecosystem. A heartfelt rendition of the “Pachani Chettu Nenera” Song followed, paying tribute to the trees and their significance in Indian culture.
