WEBSITE REPORT ON LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATIONS

Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad celebrated Library Week from 14th to 20th November,2025 with series of engaging and creative activities designed to nurture the love for reading among students from classes 3 to 12. The events were conducted in both the Primary Library and the Main Library, with enthusiastic participation from the students.

Students of Classes 3 to 5 enjoyed activities such as the Run a Reading Challenge, Poetry Slam and Play a Legendary Character, which encouraged expressive reading, creativity and confidence. For the middle school students of Classes 6 to 8, contests like Book Cover Design and the Book Trailer Contest offered opportunities to creatively represent and promote their favourite books. The students of Classes 9 to 12 participated in the Library Challenge, where they wrote a decorated diary entry in the voice of their favourite book character, showcasing imagination and deep literary understanding.

The week-long celebration created a vibrant literary atmosphere across the campus, inspiring students to explore books more meaningfully. Prizes were awarded section-wise, recognizing outstanding performances and creative efforts.

In conclusion, Library Week successfully reinforced the joy of reading and strengthened students’ bond with literature. The activities not only enriched their language skills but also transformed the library into an active hub of creativity, learning and inspiration.
