WEB REPORT TAAL – Celebrating Diversity Through Every Beat Class 1 – A Showcase of Talent and Imagination
Jubilee Hills Public School organized the magnificent celebration “Pratibha Darshan” on 22nd November, 2025, presenting an extraordinary showcase of the skills and talents of Class 1 students. The fascinating theme, “TAAL” displayed India’s vibrant cultural heritage and the rhythmic diversity of different dance traditions.
The event commenced with a serene Prayer Song followed by an elegant Welcome Dance, setting the stage for a colourful cultural journey.
The Primary Headmistress, Ms. Vidhu Mohan, welcomed the gathering and shared, “Our little performers will showcase a beautiful fusion of various dance forms and languages, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of our country.”
The children presented an engaging blend of poems, speeches and dance performances, each representing a different Indian dance form. Enthusiastically anchored in three languages, the programme beautifully showcased India’s cultural diversity.
The young performers mesmerized the audience with their confidence, expressions and rhythmic movements, leaving everyone with a deeper appreciation for the country’s dance legacy.
The Director, Ms. M. Varalakshmi, welcomed the gathering and appreciated the children for their energetic and confident dance performances. She said that children performed like professionals. She also stated that, although children come from diverse customs and traditions they remain united. She asked the parents to encourage, motivate and inspire children with positive words.
The President, Shri A. Murali Mukund, graced the event and shared that ‘J’ represents ‘Josh’ which was clearly reflected in the energetic performances of the JHPS children.
The Principal, Ms. Kanchana Valli, highlighted that learning is not confined to academics alone, but is a blend of confidence, coordination and creativity. Emphasizing the President Sir’s words that ‘J’ stands for josh, she further added that ‘HPS’ represents harmony, passion and symphony. She praised the exceptional teamwork of both students and teachers in making the event a grand success. She also emphasized that parents play a vital role in nurturing their children and strengthening their confidence.
Parents expressed immense joy and gratitude towards the school management. They were delighted to witness their children present traditional Indian dances with confidence, grace and pride. The event was a memorable celebration of rhythm, talent, and culture.
