SENIOR SECONDARY ENGLISH FEST

Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad, hosted the Senior Secondary English Fest on 28th June, 2025 for classes XI and XII, creating an enriching platform to celebrate language, expression, and intellect. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from several reputed schools across Hyderabad, making it a vibrant and competitive gathering of young minds.

 

The event started with welcome dance followed by the speech of the Principal, Smt.P Kanchana Valli, who welcomed the participants and encouraged them to explore the joy of expression and the power of words. Judges from the fields of education and literature were invited to evaluate the performances and motivate the participants with their insightful feedback.

 

The fest featured a series of intellectually exciting events, including a Debate Competition, where students showcased critical thinking and articulate arguments on thought-provoking topics. The Declamation event brought powerful speeches to life as participants confidently delivered iconic orations with emotion and expression. The quiz “What’s the Good Word?” added a fun and engaging twist, testing the students’ vocabulary, quick thinking, and team coordination.

 

The fest concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony, where the president Shri Murali Mukhund felicitated the winners with certificates and trophies and reiterated the significance of celebrating language skills through the English Fest.

 

The Senior Secondary English Fest served as a dynamic platform for students to explore their oratory talents, enhance their language proficiency, and build confidence.
