Result: JHPS students secured 3rd place among 120 teams from 43 schools

Students of Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad got an opportunity to attend the Space Tech Summit conducted at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It was an educational and competitive event that brought together students, researchers, and industry experts to showcase innovations in the field of space technology. Our school team participated by presenting three projects titled Dyson Swarm, LIGO, and Aristrocrat.

The Dyson Swarm project focused on the concept of a large number of solar energy collecting satellites placed in orbit around the Sun to harness renewable energy on a massive scale. The LIGO project explained the working and importance of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory, which is used to detect gravitational waves and study cosmic events such as black hole and neutron star collisions. The Asritrocrat project was based on a Mars mission concept, starting from rocket launch and followed by an orbiter, lander, and rover to explore the Martian surface.

Our students presented these projects to the judges and participants, and everyone appreciated our projects for their innovation, clarity, and scientific relevance. As a result of our performance, we secured 3rd place among 120 teams from 43 schools, reflecting the students’ hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Overall, attending the Space Technology Summit was a valuable learning experience that enhanced students’ knowledge of space science, improved presentation skills, and inspired further interest in space technology.
