Paying tribute to the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping young minds, Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad celebrated Guru Brahma Day on 20th July, 2024, with great enthusiasm and reverence.
Director, Ms.M.Varalakshmi in her speech, thanked all her gurus who have laid a strong foundation. She stressed upon the role played by parents as our first gurus, highlighting how they constantly guide us and how their influence has a lasting impact on our beliefs and behaviour. She also acknowledged the dedication and hard work of teachers and emphasized the school’s commitment to upholding the values of respect and reverence for educators, as embodied in the spirit of Guru Brahma.
A series of cultural programmes followed, showcasing the talents of the students. The performances included classical dances and melodious songs reflecting the students’ gratitude and respect. A speech acknowledging the positive impact of a Guru in a student’s life was thought – provoking.
These celebrations were a testament to the enduring respect and admiration for teachers and their irreplaceable role in nurturing the future generation.
