FIELD TRIP TO DO SCIENCE MUSEUM – CLASS 3

Field trips provide visual and practical experience that allow students to remember, learn and understand subjects for their life time.  Jubilee Hills Public School organized an educational field trip for the students of Class-3 on 13th October 2025 to “Do Science Museum” which was learning as well as fun filled.

The children learnt a lot about the environment. The best part about this science museum is the fact that this dissemination of information was done in an interactive way. It has nearly 30 exhibits explaining the scientific principles of the models. In ‘Do Science Museum’, all the equipments and experimental setups were laid out in the open, and each exhibit was accompanied by pictures and graphics that were for better understanding of children.

Children were able to understand common science concepts including gravity, working of pendulums, pulleys and levers, echo tube, periscope, Newton’s cradle, Pythagoras theorem, illusions, anamorphic mirror etc.

They had a good game of chess while moving the huge pieces on the black and white squares, a balancing act with logs of wooden cubicals and Snake and Ladder. Added to it there was a beautiful Butterfly Garden with many herbal plants with their scientific names displayed. Students noted the names of the plants and learnt about their uses. Children also enjoyed the beauty of the Maze Garden built in the area with smaller mazes for kids which include flowering trees along its boundary with climbers in between.

This field trip rekindled children’s curiosity in Science.
