Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad embraced the vibrant festival of Ganesh Chathurthi with a series of colourful and engaging activities that tinted the cultural richness of this auspicious occasion.WEBSITE REPORT ON GANESH CHATHURTHI CELEBRATIONS
The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with devotion and grandeur at Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad on 26th August 2025. The programme began with the Pooja performed by the President, Shri Murali Mukund Sir, along with all the heads and the parents, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for wisdom, prosperity and success. The cultural programme commenced with the soulful rendition of “Gananayakaya” followed by a melodious Prayer Song and the chanting of Ganapati Stotram in Sanskrit by the students of Classes 4 and 5, which created a serene and devotional atmosphere. To highlight the cultural significance of the festival, Saanvi of Class 4G delivered a heartfelt speech in Telugu on the importance of Ganesh Chaturthi. The little ones of LKG and UKG stole the hearts of the audience with their lively dance performance to the song “Moriya Re” in Hindi. The celebrations continued with a graceful classical dance to “Mudakaratha Modakam” in Sanskrit by the talented students of Class 4. Adding a dramatic touch to the programme, the students of Classes 6, 7, 8, and 9 presented a skit in Hindi on Ganesh Chaturthi, depicting the values and traditions associated with the festival. This was followed by an energetic and colorful dance performance to “Mangalamurthi Moriya” in Hindi by the students of Classes 7 and 8, filling the stage with festive spirit and enthusiasm. The Principal, Ms. P. Kanchana Valli, addressed the gathering and extended warm wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion. She appreciated the Art, Music and Dance Departments for their efforts in organizing such a vibrant and meaningful celebration that beautifully combined devotion, culture and creativity. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the contributions of everyone who made the event a grand success. The celebrations left the audience with a sense of joy, unity and spiritual fulfillment, marking Ganesh Chaturthi as a truly memorable day.You may also like
