EXCURSION TO BANGALORE, MYSORE & COORG CLASS-VI
JHPS has organized an excursion to Bangalore, Mysore and Coorg for the students of class 6 during Dasara vacation(2ND October – 7TH October, 2024.) The students of JHPS spent some memorable moments in the City of Sandalwood, Mysore. They relished the sumptuous meal with flavors of spices. A visit to the renowned Mysore Palace offered some valuable historical inputs on the practices and proceedings of Maharajas of Mysore – Wodeyars. However, the highlight of the trip to the palace was that, students acquired knowledge about varied types of businesses which started off near historical sites. Students were amazed watching the city of Mysore grandly decorated with lights for Dasara festival.
The next destination was Brindavan Garden. The scenic beauty and the Musical Fountain Show was a wonderful experience and fascinated everyone to the core. The visit to the High Court of Karnataka, Ancient Catholic Church in Bangalore and Chennapatna Toy Factory were indeed worth remembering and cherishing.
Students were mesmerized by the scenic landscapes, peace and calmness at the Buddhist Golden temple at Bylakuppe. The monastery is popularly known as Golden Temple owing to the golden paintings crafted on the walls and ceilings of the monastery. The altar of the temple is filled with flowers, candles and incense sticks.
The visit to the Mysore Zoo (officially known as the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens), which is home to a wide range of species, left the students amazed. The beauty of the Abbey Falls and the invigorating aroma of the coffee in Coorg estates made the students crave for more!
It was a memorable experience for the students, and they extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Management and Freakouts Adventures team for the care and concern shown towards the staff and students.
