Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

Students of Jubilee Public School celebrated ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ with great pomp and festivity on 30th August, 2022. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.
The festival was heralded with a traditional lamp lighting followed by a prayer to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The Chairman, Sri A Murali Mukund was very appreciative of the artistic skill of the students. He expressed his good wishes for the students and their parents on the festive occasion.
The cultural programme started with a prayer song followed by a skit which depicted the importance of celebrating eco-friendly festival. The students further expounded on the significance of the festival. Captivating dance performance to the song, ‘Mahaganapathim’ left the audience spellbound.
The programme ended with chants of ‘Ganapathi Bappa Moriya- Agle Baras tu Jaldi Aa’ which echoed all around the campus in a festival manner.

Yellow Colour Day

Jubilee hills Public School organized a Yellow Colour Day on Friday, 26th August 2022 for Class-1 children. The children were dressed up beautifully in their favorite yellow dresses and brought yellow objects to make it a complete Yellow Day!

The programme commenced by chanting a sloka. The celebration continued with children performing a dance on a song highlighting the significance of yellow colour. Children enjoyed vocabulary enhancing activity in which they listed the things like toys such as teddy bear, ball, balloons, smileys, flowers etc. which are in yellow colour .Focusing on the theme teachers planned colouring activity and displayed on the soft boards.

The Principal, Ms.M.Varalakshmi appreciated the students’ performance and highlighted that yellow colour symbolizes radiance, positive energy, happiness and optimism.

Janmasthami Celebrations 2022

Jubilee Hills Public School organised a special assembly on the auspicious occasion of Janmasthami to mark the birth of Lord Krishna on Friday, 19th August, 2022. It was organised on the day of the festival which enhanced its aura. The celebration was started with a prayer song followed by the welcome speech.

Puja was performed by dignitaries, parents and teachers . This was followed by a gala of wonderful performances by the tiny tots. Dressed as Radha, Krishna & gopikas, the students added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations when they
danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs. The highly energetic participants mesmerized the audience through the ramp walk, dance, speeches and skit. The icing on the cake was breaking of the pot. The festival was celebrated with
grandeur and devotion.

The Chairman, Sri A.Murali Mukund, greeted everybody especially the students ashe highlighted this idyllic occasion and its significance. The President Sri Krishna Dev Rao emphasized on parents cooperation with teachers.

The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks.

Independence Day Celebrations 2022

As India celebrates its 75 years of Independence, Jubilee Hills Public School marked the occasion with splendid patriotic celebrations in the school premises on 15th August’22.

The Chief Guest for the programme, Chairman, Sri. A. Murali Mukund and President, Jubilee Hills Education Society, Sri. K. Krishnadev Rao were welcomed ceremoniously by the Principal, Vice-Principal, and the Student Council members.

The Chief Guest hoisted the tricolour amidst a robust rendition of the National Anthem. While extending a warm welcome, Principal, Smt. M.Varalakshmi greeted the gathering on the occasion. She hailed the sacrifices of the great freedom fighters of India. During her speech she highlighted the achievements of India in all fields including Sports, Science and Technology and urged the students to take small steps to make ‘Mera Bharat Mahaan’.

While Amyphaa Changmai of 9B, spoke about the significance of the Independence Day, Achintya Katla , Pranavi Reddy and Vyshnavi of class 10, shared their thoughts about what freedom means to them. Pre Primary Head Boy Neelans Deb Kaizer, expressed his views on the qualities of a good leader. A Hindi skit ‘Azadi ke Deewane ‘ was presented, depicting freedom fighters and their inspirational journey. Colourful and scintillating dance recitals by the Primary and Secondary students heightened the patriotic fervour.

Various Pyramid formations were displayed by the students, exhibiting strength, agility coordination and teamwork. Aadhya Vivek Reddy of class 3, enthralled the audience with her exclusive hula hoop performance.

Later, addressing the gathering the Chief Guest Sri. A. Murali Mukund, expressed his happiness to celebrate this day amongst the school children. He also felt that education must focus more on moral values and social responsibility than just academics. He urged the students to strive hard to make India a developed country by the 100th year of Independence. Sri. K. Krishadev Rao, President, Jubilee Hills Education Society also spoke on the occasion and shared his thoughts about love for motherland. He saw the need for parents and teachers to sensitize children about the happenings around them and inculcate the right values.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mishika Dugar.

Safar-Journey of Mankind- Class IV Spectacle of skill and talent

Jubilee Hills Public School showcased the skill and talent of each and every student of class IV through a spectacular show „Safar-Journey of Mankind‟ as we believe that each child is special and important to us. It was a theme-based programme on evolution of mankind. It was interesting to know how the early man survived and gave us an insight into the evolution of man over time. The programme started with the prayer followed by memorizing dance.
The Primary Headmistress, Ms. Vidhu Mohan welcomed the gathering and said “-If we could see the world through the eyes of the child we would see magic in everything!” She focused how under the dynamic leadership and vision of our ChairmanShri.A.Murali Mukund,we are trying to put all our events back on track, post COVID. This Pratibha Darshan is the first initiative in that direction.
The entire programme was very well anchored in three languages. Group dances were the highlights and the presentations were laudable. The skits were well performed by the students with fluent dialogue delivery and natural acting. It showcased that the evolution denotes a change. In the context of man, the biological evolution started with the „Origin of life‟ The first successful formation of protoplasm initiated the life and its continuous development proceeded towards complexity to give rise different life forms of evolved type.
The Chairman, Sri A. Murali Mukund, appreciated the students for their wonderful performance, confidence and their team spirit. He added that children have presented “Safar-Journey of Mankind “amazingly well!
The Principal, Ms. M. Varalakshmi appreciated the children for their extraordinary performance and appreciated the teachers and parents for the support extended.
The parents of Class IV were overwhelmed with the performance of their children and they said that programme was splendid. Parents expressed heartfelt thanks to the teachers who were responsible for motivating their children to come up with such a wonderful programme. They thanked the Management for organizing such invigorating events for children.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

To scale new heights and reach the pinnacle of success the school always strives to inculcate a sense of commitment and responsibility among the students with their heads held high as the future leaders. On 4th August ’22, Jubilee Hills Public School, organized the Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected School Council members.
The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Sri. K.Krishna Dev Rao, President of Jubilee Hills Education Society while Sri. A. Muarli Mukund, Chairman , Jubilee Hills Public School was the Guest of Honour. The school Principal Smt. M. Varalakshmi , Vice Principal Smt. P. Kanchana Valli, parents, staff and students also attended the program.
The school guard of Honour ceremoniously welcomed the distinguished guests. While addressingthe gathering the Principal Smt. M. Varalakshmi spoke about the electoral procedure of council members. She also emphasized the need for good vision, values and being victorious to be successful. The ceremony began with the Chief Guest investing the badges on the newly elected Student Council members followed by the oath taking. The Student Council includes Syed Ali Asad Hussaini, Head Boy Senior Secondary, Bhoomi Jain, Head Girl Senior Secondary, Ayush Shah, Head Boy Secondary, Akshita Anil, Secondary Section, Srikumaran Rishik, Deputy Head Boy, Senior Secondary Section, Vridhi Mehta. Addressing the young leaders, the Chief Guest, Sri. K.Krishna Dev Rao highlighted the qualities of a good leader. He also advised the students to be good human beings which is the need of the hour. Also, speaking on the occasion, Chairman, Sri. A. Muarli Mukund said that this ceremony marks the beginning of the good times ahead. The dignitaries congratulated and wished the Student Council all the best.
On this occasion, the school Chairman Sri. A. Murali Mukund released the first edition of the Hillside magazine, a school magazine, containing snippets of various events conducted in school.
The youngest Student Council member, Aradhya Pothapragada welcomed the gathering and shared her thoughts about her new role and responsibilities as the Pre Primary Head Girl. . The school choir also presented a wonderful rendition signifying the importance of time to be successful.
The investiture ceremony was followed by the Vanamahotsav Day celebrations with the students taking the green pledge to protect and conserve the forests. A thought provoking street play in Hindi ‘Nukkad Naatak’ presented by the students highlighted the consequences of misusing nature’s bounties for decades Students of JHPS also paid a tribute to their teachers as they celebrated Guru Brahma Day. Various programs were presented, including a foot tapping dance performace, expressing their reverence and affection to their gurus.
A few parents present at the programme, shared their feedback and expressed their gratitude to the school management for providing their children various opportunities and platform for overall development and progress .
The program concluded with the Vote of thanks proposed by the Secondary Section Head boy, Ayush Shah.
